I started 10 years ago as a big ticket affiliate marketer. I made money quickly and quit the rat race 55 days later. It made sense to me to avoid creating a product (a tortuous path for a newbie) and let a third party take care of product creation and delivery, not to mention customer service.
Trust continues to be a major issue on the World Wide Web between bloggers and readers. Readers want to see bloggers posting lots and lots of meaningful content to their sites on a daily basis and giving them something to think about. I would like an response anyone, preferably from the author. I used to write a Blog and would like to start again. My previous Blog was hosted by WordPress. I was paying about 29.00 dollars a year for many years, but all of a sudden it jumped to about 150.00 a year. I tried contacting WordPress about this unexplained huge increase, but they chose not to respond. Since you recommend using WordPress, how can you assure me they will honour their promises, and when they don’t, what can I do?
Moving your site to another host does not affect it. You do not need to change the WordPress platform. Since you are having issues with tat particular plug-in, might I suggest that you un install it. You can search wordpress.org for available plugins for code snippets.
Signing up for Tumblr is easy. Enter your email address, a password, and a URL you’d like for your blog. This URL is how people can visit your website — for example, you can make your URL “behavioraleconomics.tumblr.com” if you were interested in talking about behavioral economics. Usually, people choose something personally meaningful, like a nickname or a catch-phrase, or what you’d name your autobiography. Get creative!

Plugins. We use only a few plugins on our site: “Google Analytics for WordPress” and really simple Facebook and Twitter share-button plugins (since human beings are intrinsically wired to share value, it’s important to make your posts easy to share with others). They take just a few seconds (literally a few seconds, it’s just a click of a button) to install once you’ve started your blog. Blogs consist of a pretty similar structure, no matter what they are about. For example, they typically have a homepage that tells people what they can expect to learn from you once they begin reading your content.
Know what you want. When you’re interviewing somebody for your site, always enter the interview knowing what story you want them to tell. Have a Skype chat or email exchange with them, before they’re in front of a camera. Do your due diligence: ask what they’re working on, and what interesting opinions they have, and agree in advance what you’ll ask them. This is where the fun starts on your content plan. Seriously, just go nuts and use whatever brainstorming tools you have at your disposal. Write down everything you can think of and then go back and dig even deeper into those subjects. As much as possible, make sure you tie it back to your niche idea because straying too far will diffuse the effectiveness of your targeting.
I want to make a personal blog type of fan page but the selection of what kind of page I want to make has nothing to do with it. Only business things. How can I put the page to say personal blog. Not the name of the page but the discription of it.
My best tip would be to make a list of the other authors you follow that seem to be using this strategy. Figure out what they’re doing, what people like about it, and then try to find a way to do it a bit differently. Getting your own domain and host is a good start, but you need some ideas about how to grow it based on a distinctive strategy.
If you’re a total newb to the blog world yourself, what service could you possibly offer someone else? I’m sure I could be a pro hand holder, but the idea of trying to tell someone else how to be successful when *I* don’t even feel like I’m there seems far fetched.

I currently have Google Adsense on my blog and I offer advertising banner spots on my website through micro job sites. But $100k a month is awesome! I’ll even be happy with $100k a year. I started by getting a domain and hosting, as per your instruction, but at the end of my registration page on Host Gator, I didn’t find the “Constant Contact” add on. Instead, I have “Get a Pro Email Address from Google” add on. How do I get this Constant Contact add on, and do you suggest me adding the Pro Email Address one? As I’ve been finding sites from videos or reviews online I’ve been collecting them in a list on my site I recently built to make it easier for others in my position. None of these tools are difficult to use. For example, if you’re inserting a link, this dialog box will pop up. Simply highlight the text you want to link to, click the Insert Link button, and input the Link URL and what you want the the link to say when a cursor hovers over it.
You might not be able to do what your favorite bloggers are doing. This happens to new bloggers all the time. They start a blog for free. Soon they notice other bloggers with a really cool feature on their blog and they want it to. The problem is, it’s not possible on their free service.
If you’re blogging in another language, I would recommend just focus on posting amazing content and then asking influencers to share it for you. You have much less competition, so it should be fairly effective.
